Hey! I'm here.
Do you people care at all about not blogging anonymously. Anyone? Helpful/Hurtful?

It depends on what the purpose of your blog is. If you want to stand behind what you are saying, then it helps to represent yourself by coming out with who you are. However, if you're just trying to stoke the fire, or if there are political/personal reasons why you can't reveal yourself, your words aren't any less valuable by your anonymity. They're just anonymous.

HOnestly, I am terrified. During the whole NYTW/Rachel Corrie thing, I once woke up in the middle of the night and had a full-on panic attack, convinced I'd ruined my career.

I'm being totally serious.

I want everyone to know who I am. I mean, what's the point if I don't become famous? Which is, of course, not important.

I am who I am. I am my own special creation. I'll sing the rest of Jerry Herman's lyric later, alone.

I just want everyone to know that Ludlow Lad IS my real name. :-)

Please! You are a divine inspiration. I mean look at those red lips.

As for being anon, it's a necessity for me, but I sure do admire those who blog publicly and have to answer for their opinions completely.

Thanks... I don't have any problem with you guys being anonymous. My problem is with anonymous comment flame types. Those guys are cowards.

Fair enough. I've always felt the anonymity (or rather pseudonumity) means I can be more honest, and not worry about offending so-and-so, who's friends with so-and-so, who will then never cast me in a show again.

Mark, your the first I've heard anyone express fear. Thanks.

I've noticed there are many more anonymous blogging women than men which is I think because men are attention whores.
